Damisi
Director
Damisi is a writer and poet and has published several pieces of poetry and short stories in literary magazines.
After completing the writing for children's course at Faber & Faber in 2015, Damisi decided to start Writing Champions. In designing the syllabus, she brought her creative writing expertise, consulted with English teachers and also drew on her own personal experience of trying to encourage her daughter, who was a reluctant writer to enjoy writing for pleasure. In her spare time, when she is not busy chasing after her children, she loves to travel and can often be found hiding somewhere with a book.
